Blog - to my understanding is an anagrammatic abbreviation of Web Log. Blogs can cover anything from simple diary-like entries to regular or semi regular postings of related or diverse subject matter.

Within my experience the setup and management was relatively easy, though cannot say with certainty that my approach was entirely appropriate. I cheated here though.
